Butter Dinner rolls

Christmas is in the air and its been such a busy year that i hardly a breather to do what i love best - bake bread and sharing with a company of friends.

For a friend's belated birthday party, we had dinner @home with aries and here's what i made, after an unexpected find of King Arthur's unbleached flour at Cold Storage supermart : Butter Dinner Rolls - made from Rose Levy's recipe. Its was really the best dinner roll i've ever tased, but the process of it proofing and doubling took 8 hours, no wonder its called dinner rolls . One really have to start making it in the morning so that it can be served during dinner

Just a bite into it and psychologically its like butter is oozing out of each roll, although butter was only lightly coated before the final proofing. So no actual butter was in the rolls.

Rose's recipe made 20 mini rolls, but here's what is left after 6 hungry adults ate it. Go get the bread bible for the recipe.
